Wallpaper Glue Installer Training and Mixing Record Card

Use one record card to control product, lot, water, powder, addition order, mixing, rest time, wallpaper, substrate and field observations during installer training.

Installer training based only on a spoken demonstration is difficult to repeat across crews, projects and cities. A concise mixing record card fixes product identity, actual quantities, sequence and site conditions, supporting both training consistency and later investigation.

Identify the exact product and lot

Start with product name, grade, lot, pack size, opening date and applicable TDS revision. Different wallpaper glue powders may use different mixing ranges, so one demonstration ratio must not be copied across every grade. Resolve any conflict between memory, label and TDS before training.

Record measured quantities, not estimates

Write the weight of clean water and powder, container identification and weighing tool. Cups, scoops and visual estimates produce results that cannot be compared. Training may show a target ratio, but the card needs actual input so the ratio can be calculated and repeated.

Fix addition, mixing and rest sequence

State whether water or powder enters first, the powder addition rate, mixing tool, mixing duration, rest time and whether the glue is mixed again before use. Lumps frequently relate to rapid addition or a changed sequence. Process records provide more diagnostic value than a final thickness description.

Connect wallpaper, substrate and environment

Record wallpaper type and lot, substrate material, primer or sealer, surface condition, room temperature and approximate humidity. Add application position, waiting time, initial grab, slip and adjustment observations. Coverage and open time are results from this field trial, not universal promises.

Retain a panel and signed conclusion

Use a small sample panel for each session, photograph mixing, application and completed condition, and have trainer and installer confirm the record. Hangzhou Karn supports product TDS and sample discussion; the local distributor and installer adapt language, conditions and compliance and preserve training evidence.
