Why Packaging Matters for Wallpaper Glue Powder
Wallpaper glue powder is hygroscopic: it absorbs moisture from the air. Once moisture enters, the powder clumps, loses solubility and viscosity, and may become unusable. Packaging is the first and most important line of defense against moisture damage during production, warehousing, sea freight and retail distribution.
20kg Bulk Bag: Kraft with PE Inner Liner
The standard 20kg bulk bag is a multi-wall kraft paper bag with an inner polyethylene (PE) liner. The kraft paper provides structural strength; the PE liner provides the moisture barrier. Together they protect the powder through palletized handling, container loading and sea transit. The inner liner must remain intact: a torn liner means the moisture barrier is broken.
OEM Small Pack Options
For OEM small packs (200g / 300g / 500g / 1kg), packaging choices include laminated sachets/pouches (better moisture barrier), folding cartons with inner sachet (carton for shelf appeal, sachet for protection), and resealable pouches (practical for partial use). For humid markets, prefer laminated or multi-layer barrier packaging over single-layer plain plastic.
Outer Carton and Palletization
OEM small packs ship inside outer cartons (corrugated boxes). For sea freight and humid markets, use moisture-resistant corrugated cartons and consider stretch-wrapping the pallet. Do not exceed the recommended stacking height. Apply shipping marks clearly: product name, net/gross weight, batch number, production date, country of origin.
Labeling for Moisture Awareness
Include a short storage instruction on each retail pack: "Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal after opening." This helps end users in humid markets preserve product quality after purchase and reduces complaints.
