When wallpaper glue powder reaches the port or buyer warehouse, it should not move straight into repacking or distribution. A repeatable incoming inspection separates transport damage, packaging defects, document differences and product-performance questions while preserving evidence for later traceability.
Match the order, packing list and batch identity
Compare the purchase order, packing list and bag markings. Record the actual bag count, declared net weight, product grade, production lot and receiving date. If one shipment contains several lots, register them separately. Photograph and flag quantity or identity differences during unloading rather than after stock has been mixed.
Inspect 20kg packaging and transport evidence
Check each pallet for kraft-bag damage, inner PE liner exposure, broken stitching, wet marks, compression, contamination and unusual caking. Local transport damage does not automatically prove the complete lot is defective, but affected bags must be quarantined and kept away from the normal repacking line.
Connect the COA to the physical goods
The product name, lot number and date on the COA should correspond to the bags and shipping documents. TDS and MSDS explain use, mixing and safety; the COA identifies the tested production lot. Missing or mismatched records should be clarified with the supplier rather than edited locally.
Use one controlled retest method
For solubility or viscosity checks, fix the sampling method, water temperature, powder-to-water ratio, addition order, mixing time, rest time, test temperature and instrument settings. Results are comparable with factory or historical data only when these conditions match. Preserve the raw worksheet, not only the final number.
Quarantine, disposition and release
Keep the lot on hold until inspection is complete. Separate damaged packaging, document mismatches or abnormal test results from unaffected stock. Release, repacking, rework or claim decisions should use photographs, lot identity, samples and controlled retest records together. Hangzhou Karn can provide order-specific batch documents; the buyer should define final warehouse acceptance rules before purchase.
